Sue Crawford has been a volunteer with the Parramatta based NEW Writers’ Group Incorporated since 2004 helping co-ordinate writers’ events, running workshops and publishing self-funding anthologies for local writers. She established NWG’s presence on line in 2005 and is the founding editor of the print publication and competition ZineWest which publishes new Western Sydney writers and artists.
She co-edits bi-lingual anthologies with Romanian writer, Mihaela Cristescu.
Her current favourite books are Hilary Mantel’s take on Henry VIII and an old favourite is Michael Chabon’s Kavalier and Clay. Otherwise, titles from the amazing and independent publisher, Giramondo. Local writing hero is Felicity Castagna.
